2026 TOUR DE VLEI is almost one month away.

This event draws a good crowd and we need all your support to make it a success.

Please register for a timeslot wherever you are able to assist - simply tick the box ✅next to the time slot.

GALLEY
Volunteers help prepare and serve pre-ordered meals

BAR
Volunteers run the bar between 12:00 and 20:00. 
 - Training and a cheat sheet provided.

ABLUTIONS
Preferably someone (Males and Females required) staying ashore periodically checking that stock of paper towel and toilet paper is sufficient and restock, report any cleaning up / clearing of bins required to Galley.
All weekend!

SHORE SUPPORT
Strong members assist sailors launching and retrieving dolleys before and after sailing. 
 - from 13:30 until all boats launched
 - after racing until all sailors are safely home
You must be prepared to get your feet (and legs) wet!

PARKING AND CAMPING GUIDES
Directing visitors to parking areas for cars, trailers, boat yard and to camping areas.

HALL SET UP
Friday       16:00 set up tables and chairs for meals
Saturday   21:00 clear space for dancing
Sunday     09:00 set out chairs for prize-giving
There is some heavy lifting involved moving the couches etc

FIRES
10:30   Braai fires (1 drum) lit for lunch prep 
17:00   Evening Braai fires (all drums) lit in stages for supper
 - Fires extinguished after lunch service
 - Bar Crew extinguish late night fires

CLUBHOUSE & SURROUNDS
ALL MEMBERS:
 - help gather and return to the galley any abandoned glasses & dinnerware 
 - help clear bottles, cans & any rubbish
